Zero Waste Initiative

A design framework and philosophy known as "zero waste" emphasizes sustainability by taking into account a product, process, or system's whole life cycle in addition to reuse, recycling, and conservation efforts.

The global retail market generates more than 120 billion units of packaging every year. Since 1950, only 9% has been recycled, while most end up in landfills. Plastic takes thousands of years to decompose and can be ingested causing damage to aquatic life as well as humans. Micro-plastics are tiny particles polluting our oceans, drink water and food supply.
